It seems a lot all at once to learn that you are pregnant. Congratulations and hold on for quite a ride!! It's an amazing process and also one that is full of surprises, joy and challenges especially if you are a first time mother, let me tell you.
So...what to do. First decide upon a doctor and shop around- you need to find someone that you are 100% comfortable with that will be there for you and be an advocate for your needs and wishes during the pregnancy and delivery. Ask your friends, read yelp reviews and meet a few people before deciding. Ask lots of questions!!
Then just take a few deep breaths and realize that you have a new little person in there that senses and reacts to your emotions and down the road can hear your voice and will know you as Mama right from the beginning.
Hold on and ask questions! There are many milestones to come...
